Anniversary cake.


This simple sponge cake with cherry jam filling is my favourite for two reasons. One because, I baked it for my aai and baba when they celebrated their wedding anniversary with us. Two, because, I baked and decorated it in 3 hours time and kept it ready as a surprise for them. They had gone shopping and had no idea what I had been upto! I used fondant for covering it and buttercream for the flowews and writing.
